Go further into your practice and your teaching. Join Gopi Kinnicutt (500 ERYT) for your 300 HOUR TEACHER TRAINING at Yoga Alliance Registered School, HOT YOGA. (***This program is only available to those who have already successfully completed a Registered Yoga Alliance 200 Hour program)
Join fellow teachers for 1-2 weekends a month over a 12 month period to learn in more depth about Alignment, Adjustments, Ayurveda, Sequencing, Philosophy, Anatomy, Chakras and Marma Nadis. Take your practice and your teaching to the next level!
This program includes a 1 monthly Philosophy Group discussion, assisting weekly classes with mentor and working with mentor one on one for deepening your own understanding and teaching.
$3600 paid in full by December 1, 2011 OR
$3850 paid in full after January 15, 2012 or financed over the 12 months

Make up sessions may be available at an added cost which will be assessed depending on the teacher and the amount of time needed. Please consult Ashley Pehrson prior to training if you know you will miss a meeting.
During the training program (January 2009 – August 2009) participants will receive the student monthly unlimited rate to practice yoga of $45/month as well as 10% off any workshops and retail at the studio.

Requirements for Training:
Students wishing to enroll need to have a passionate interest in Yoga and healing and must have completed an accredited 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Program. We ask that you have a consistent daily asana practice with a minimum of one years studying Ha-tha yoga under the guidance of a teacher or teachers. Part of the study course will be a required reading list which will be provided to you upon enrollment.

learning to create sequences for privates- how to work with one on one, addressing individual’s physical, mental and emotional needs.
yoga for depression, yoga for anxiety. creating sequence that for both. Trauma sensative yoga, becoming mindful about language use. what posture to use and not to use, based on the the type of trauma groups. yoga as a therapy, learning to a compose a short practice or sequences (15 min) to achieve maximum effect for recovery and healing . yoga as a preventative more then a fitness practice. restorative yoga using bolsters, straps and blocks.
The art of creating adaption , to serve a desired effect or objective.
advance breath work/ pranayama. Looking at threshold- how to increase threshold. Studying, retention and suspension of breath. Full mulha and uddiyana bhandha.
aloma and viloma breath. How to use pranayama in emotional and mental healing. How to sequence in breath work appropriately, to create a cooling, heating , cleansing or calming or energizing effect. (langagna, or bramhina effect or pingal or ida nadi effect)
study of the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system (ANS).
ayurveda- teach and study the dosha- root of ayurveda bases of the elements. how to balance dosha’s through lifestyle , diet , work and yoga.
Looking at diet and the effects of food on consciousness- the process of cooking using ayurvedic herbs and spices- and the compatible combination of food stuff to create mind body balance.
How to teach and practice silent mediation, mantra meditation , japa and kirtan. The power of sound in asanas, using vibration as a way of healing and focusing. Meaning of mantras and seed vibrations.
Marma, nadi and chakra series. This section includes an indepth study of the chakra sytem. looking at the corresponding nadi lines – lines of energy, and marma points, (sensative energy point). Look at what poses activate the different chakra, and energy lines. how to stimulate energy points with hands on assists. study of meta physics of chakras.
