Yasmine Kloth

Yasmine (Yaz) Kloth has been practicing yoga since the summer of 2005. She first fell in love with ashtanga but quickly discovered the creativity and fluidity of vinyasa flow yoga practices. It didn’t take long for Yaz to decide she wanted to teach and in January 2007 she completed her 200 hr Yoga Alliance teacher training through a studio in Cincinnati called YogahOMe. She owes a lot of her growth to her teachers from this hometown studio but she has recently discovered some amazing teachers in D.C. where she continues to grow as a teacher and as a student. Yaz enjoys the beauty of a dynamic yoga flow practice, challenging her students (no matter the level), and teaching her students how to find peace within the rise and fall of breath. Yaz is a continual student herself and enjoys learning from those who step into her class. She has a master’s in physiology from Georgetown University and works full-time as a science writer at the National Institutes of Health.
